Boulala has pioneered skating manoeuvres, featured in skateboarding videos, featured on the front cover of Transworld Skateboarding magazine and designed his own shoes. Boulala put out a pro-model board in 2003 with a frame from flips Really Sorry video. It depicts Boulala sitting on a motorcycle with a bottle of beer in his hand.
